Celebrating service day

The school provided an opportunity for the students to work together and plan activities for the gardeners and the house keeping staff. The idea was to give a break to the staff and provide some entertainment for them. Students wanted to show their gratitude and make them feel special. The day began with brainstorming ideas. Students later split into groups and started practicing. Various centres like plays, story telling, telling jokes, origami and ICT were planned. For few of the students this was a perfect opportunity to showcase their strength. Students used Telugu and Hindi to communicated with the gardeners and the house keeping staff.

STEAM Time

Kids are natural explorers and are always game for some exploration and inquiry in the classroom. This week's focus was science and it gave a lot of room for fun along with learning. All the students were encouraged to design simple science experiments. They had to plan and execute the experiment in the class.
